and a trip to rome?

how lucky am i? after all the gorgeous presents i got for christmas, my lovely boyfriend is taking me to rome for a long weekend in january! i can't wait to go! i've been there twice before but only for a day at a time and its not enough time to see and appreciate it all! it's such a romantic and cultural city that i can't wait to get lost around it and taste all the amazing italian food! agghhhhh.

i have always been a beyonce fan, but after her new video "video phone"... i'm in awe! lady gaga may be fabulous, but next to beyonce in this video... she just doesn't compare! i especially love her new very retro look, and i need that alien t shirt!

runway!

i did my first runway last week and had an amazing time, bar the few diva moments from a few of the models! it was manic, crazy and everything you see on americas next top model! i can't wait for my next one now!

winter wonderland!

hyde park has opened its 2009 winter wonderland and it's amazing! there is so much to do, gorgeous german markets, bars, fairground rides, roller coasters, ice skating and it's best at night because it's all lit up and so romantic!

longing for leggings...

i am totally in love with leggings. there was a point when i was about 12 seeing my mum (who has cracking legs) wear leggings and thinking to myself that nothing was more tragic... and i didn't even like fashion then! then there was the time a few years later when i would only wear them to dance in or exorcise in, but other than that i would never have worn them in the day time. now, however, thngs have changed! give me floral ones, mesh ones, leggings that look like jeans ones, just get them on me! my one pet hate though is the word "jeggings". why is it that everything in out fashion world has to have its own specific name, even though the trend may onlt be around for a few weeks, until it either gets old, nobody catches on, or horrendous cheap copies are made and abused. don't get me wrong, i like denim look leggings, but being asked, "oh where did you get your jeggings from?" i would gladly rip them off and walk around in my knickers! jeggings shmeggings!

twilight mania

so... i have only just been converted to being a twilight fan, and i am suddenly obsessed! never has a story been so exciting, romantic, scary, funny and most of all intense. you feel like you know the characters, they are your friends and you want to protect them, or marry them! ha. and, since seeing the first film, i have been on team edward all the way... until jacob black (played by taylor lautner) takes off his shirt in "new moon", and thankfully doesnt seem to wear it ever again after that moment. i am still team edward though, i'm an r patz girl through and through, even when he was cedric diggory in harry potter and the goblet of fire. GO WATCH THE FILM! i will be going to see it at the cinema as much as i can, it's amazing!

dream boots?

so... remember these boots from an earlier post? They're from topshop, called britney2 and i wanted them soooooooo bad! well... i went shopping the other night with my mum and she said i could have them as an early christmas prezzie, and however amazing, gorgeous and drool worthy they are (which is a hell of a lot) they have a massive platform... being 5'10, i was then about 6'2 in them. i am just too tall for the platform trend, so i took them back... tear tear.
