having a dr martens day!

Dirty Laundry

Ella and I went to get a dirty Chinese take away last night and on the way passed a really retro laundrette... I really want to use it for a photo shoot or something, it's perfect for this kind of picture, that old 40's/50's pin up retro look is my absolute favorite!

Dr Martens Overload

GOSSIP GIRL is back!!! The fashion is as good as ever and the claws are already out! My crush on Little Jenny Humphrey, or Taylor Momsen, in real life is growing with every news article and episode, at age 16 she is a true fashionista in the making!

I finally got my "Lady Dragon" shoes by Melissa for Vivienne Westwood in the post the other day, they smell of bubblegum and I get very excited every time I think about them! Now I've found the bag I need to match them... the Westwood "Ebury 4695" bag! I'm thinking... Santa could bring me this!!!

Whitney Eve

I am so excited about Whitney Port's new clothing range aptly called "Whitney Eve"... Over the past few months I've been told that I look like her all the time, which is fine by me because I absolutely love her! But now she's gone and named her clothing line after me and her too! She has designed some really cute florals, all at her signature mini length and gorgeous silk shorts with boyfriend blazers that I have to get some of! Check out her collection at www.whitneyeve.com

This will do for now...

OK, so I really want a Chanel 2.55 bag, but then who doesn't? It's the one thing I need to own, I know this will probably be in the far future as I can't afford it yet... but it will happen! But how fashion forward is this girl! It's retro, unique and creative! I want to play the "here's one I made earlier" game with this one!

Blue nails

I wanted to try out something a bit quirky, so I opted for blue nails! I chose a Barry M shade called "Turquoise" because it really has a pop to it. All the Barry M colours are so vibrant and at under £3... you can't go wrong! The funny thing is, blue nails are such a statement, and without knowing, as I got back to my friends apartment, she was just finishing her last lick of blue paint on her nails too!!! (she also chose Barry M but a slightly different shade!) Blue nails are definitely here to stay!

Tights tights tights!!!

I am LOVING tights this season... apparently plain black are just not enough now! So, I am going to have to purchase some of these amazing Henry Holland for Pretty Polly tights, especially the mock hold up ones... no wait all of them! Asos have got some cheeky versions too, I am loving the seemed back tights with the twist of animal print, anything with a pop of leopard is good in my books. Definitely on my Wish List!

Bag Envy!

I think my purple "Bayswater" and tan "Bayswater Pouch" need a new friend... they might have to wait a while though. I've got my eyes set on Mulberry's new "Alexa" bag, no prizes for guessing who's already got one in tan and black! Jealous? Me? Not much! It probably means I wont eat for a few weeks though... but definitely worth it!

The "L" Word

I hate it when your mind tells you one thing but your heart tells you something different. Maybe it's true what The Beatles said... "All you need is Love"... it completes us.

AVA Shiny Lace Up Hiker Boot

My dream boots finally came in store last week and will have their premiere tonight! I can't wait!!!

Cheers Big Ears!

I am soooo loving all these ears around at the moment, it's great that celebs are branching out and not taking fashion too seriously! My love for add on ears started when Kelly Osbourne wore her Comme Des Garcons Minnie Mouse ones and now they are everywhere! Maison Michel's lace mouse and rabbit ears have been seen on the likes of Lily Allen, the Olsen twins, Dita von Tease and Lady Gaga, while Louis Vuitton's bunny ears and Moschino Cheap & Chic's own interpretation of Minnie Mouse ears are show stoppers for me! However the designer that took it that one stage further was Jeremy Scott, putting his on top of a helmet! Even if I end up going into the Disney store, i need to get me some of those now please!

Girl Crushes

"The City" stars Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo are my new celeb crushes! They have the most enviable locks ever, how is it possible to have such gorgeous wavy hair all the time? And don't even get me started on Whitney's legs!!! I love her laid back fashion of little floral dresses with key vintage pieces and braids in her hair, while Olivia shows us how to do Upper East Side, high society glam... a real life Blair Waldorf. All in all, 2 very lucky girls working at Diane von Furstenberg, living in the fashion capitol that is New York and being able to get their paws on all the newest designs around!

Cologne as my home!

So I just got back from living in Cologne for 3 months... I loved every minute of it, from the bars and restaurants to the Rhine and general way of life. Sitting on the steps of the Cathedral at night with a Starbucks or take out Chinese and watching the world go by, or sitting down by the river front drinking wine and playing "UNO" till all hours of the morning will stay with me forever... even the image of my mum, drunk and stumbling on the cobbles in the old town after finding a brewery which was "AMAZING" in her own words.
This is a city that I can't wait to go back to, I just need to refrain from screaming abuse in English at people when they walk too slow... good job they didn't understand me!
